Our client is a global automotive manufacturer that produces metal components, assemblies, and vehicle structures for the transportation industry.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Bus Body & Structural Repair Technician to repair and restore heavy-gauge steel bus cab structures and components.

This is a hands-on position for someone with experience in auto body repair, heavy-duty vehicle repair, bus/coach repair, metal fabrication, or structural welding.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and repair damaged bus cab structures and components
• Straighten and repair heavy-gauge steel
• Remove dents and correct damaged or distorted metal
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components
• Measure, cut, bend, form, and prepare metal for repair
• MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux Core weld
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Use equipment such as shears, press brakes, rollers, band saws, drills, and presses
• Grind, sand, and finish repaired areas
• Reassemble components after repairs
• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
