Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Burning Operator to join a heavy industrial manufacturing facility in Tulsa. This position is responsible for supporting industrial kiln and burner operations, monitoring production systems, moving kiln cars, recording production information, and identifying operational issues in a safety-sensitive, high-heat environment.
New employees will complete approximately 60 90 days of training on the Monday Friday day shift. Once the Lead and Supervisor determine the employee is prepared to work independently, the position will transition to its regular four-day schedule.

Monday Friday | 6: 00 AM 2: 00 PM
Training continues until the Lead and Supervisor approve independent operation
Regular Schedule After Training
Wednesday | 12: 00 PM 6: 00 PM
Thursday | 6: 00 AM 6: 00 PM
Friday | 6: 00 AM 6: 00 PM
Saturday | 6: 00 AM 6: 00 PM
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, warehouse, or production environments
Basic computer skills for operating kiln software and entering production data
Ability to interpret machine readings and production information
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Ability to recognize and respond to operational or equipment irregularities
Flexible attitude and ability to adapt as production demands change
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to pass required background and pre-employment drug screening
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support the safe operation of industrial burners and kiln systems
Monitor kiln software, machine readings, and production information throughout the process
Record production data accurately using computer-based systems
Identify unusual machine readings or operational conditions and report concerns promptly
Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and production issues
Manually push, steer, and position heavy kiln cars into and out of industrial burners
Work closely with production team members to maintain efficient plant operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company operating procedures and production requirements
Perform additional production duties as assigned
Safety Requirements
Strictly follow all company safety procedures in this safety-sensitive position
Wear all company-provided PPE as required
Maintain focus and situational awareness around industrial burners and high-temperature equipment
Immediately report equipment concerns, unsafe conditions, or production irregularities
Physical Requirements
Ability to manually push, steer, and maneuver heavy kiln cars
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely perform physically demanding work for extended periods
Comfortable working around high-heat industrial kilns and burners while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Heavy industrial manufacturing facility
Safety-sensitive production environment involving high-temperature kilns and burner systems
Exposure to heat, industrial machinery, heavy materials, and active production operations
