Come build your career with us!Job Summary and QualificationsYou will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoringYou will foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectivesYou will stay abreast of legal and regulatory standards and ensures compliance, and develop and implement policies, procedures and practices in compliance with all legal/regulatory standardsYou will direct nursing practice and unit operations, develop policies/procedures and nursing standards to ensure patient and family needs are assessed, met, and evaluatedYou will ensure effective labor management, including position control, scheduling excellence, productivity management, and premium pay utilizationWhat qualifications you will need:Bachelor's degree in Nursing or approved education plan requiredMaster's degree preferred 1+ years of experience in healthcare required1+ years of experience in a leadership role required3+ years of experience in healthcare and in a leadership role preferredCurrent license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation requiredNational Nursing Certification in Specialty or Nursing Leadership preferredSunrise Hospital & Medical Center provides Las Vegas and the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
