What you’ll do (imagine this)

You arrive at a NJ client site to bring multiple packaged rooftop units online. You methodically verify airflow, tighten up humidity control, and dial in energy management sequences. A service call sends you to a water source heat pump issue—within an hour, you’ve diagnosed and repaired it, then coached a newer tech through proper startup steps. That’s impact.

Your impact

• Start up and commission commercial HVAC systems across air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with precision and clear communication
• Mentor peers and model best practices in the field
• Represent MIH professionally while organizing your workload independently

What you bring to the team

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC field experience
• Expertise in commercial air-conditioning and heating, including water source heat pumps and rooftop packaged HVAC systems
• Proven startup/commissioning background
• Experience mentoring others
• Personal hand tools and a clean driving record
• EPA Universal certification
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Self-starter with excellent communication and on-time execution

Estimated Salary: $35/hourly - $55/hourly based on experience and skills plus benefits
