    What you’ll tackle

    • Service requests across trades: electrical, lighting, HVAC systems, furnaces, appliances, water heaters, disposals, plumbing/fixtures, carpentry, painting, roofing, and general building issues.
    • Preventive maintenance to prevent deterioration and keep equipment operating smoothly.
    • HVAC PMs: adhere to the preventive maintenance program, including filter replacements and basic servicing.
    • Emergencies: sewage back-ups; water main and lateral breaks (locate, dig, repair, and restore); fires; leaks; urgent appliance repairs.
    • Assembly/installation/repair of wiring, electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment.
    • Operate plant equipment and building automation systems.
    • Use blueprints, plans, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to plan work effectively.
    • Maintain tools and materials in ready condition; manage accurate inventories of tools and supplies (snakes, gauges, drills, etc.).
    • Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials; apply PPE appropriately.
    • Uphold CGL standards, OSHA requirements, and client expectations for cleanliness and safety.
    • Identify unsafe conditions and correct them promptly; meet quality and timeliness benchmarks.
    • Enter and track work orders in the CMMS per policy.
    • Coach and mentor teammates from other trades on fundamentals.

    What you bring

    • High School Diploma or GED (required).
    • 1–3 years of facilities maintenance or relevant trade experience (preferred).
    • Working knowledge across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
    • Computer literacy and experience communicating with clients and colleagues.
    • Team-first mindset, strong work ethic, dependable and positive attitude.
    • Comfort working indoors/outdoors in all weather; lift 50 lbs routinely and occasionally more than 50 lbs.
    • Willingness to take on-call rotations as needed.
    • Valid in-state driver’s license (required).
    • EPA 608 and skilled trade certifications (preferred).

    Schedule & mobility

    • On-call availability as needed.
    • Driving is part of the job: you may use a company vehicle (from rarely to frequently) or a personal/rental vehicle to conduct company business more than 50% of the time, based on assignment.
