Building Sub - Middle School (Grades 6-8)

Job Summary:

Hartland-Lakeside School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Building Substitute to join our dynamic team for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and creative educator with a strong understanding of child development, effective instructional strategies, and a commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. The Building Substitute will be assigned to work each day either as a substitute teacher or a classroom aide. This position will be assigned to North Shore Middle School (grades 6-8) but may be needed to substitute at all grade levels (4k-8) based upon District needs.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current teacher's license or substitute license through the Wisconsin Department of Instruction
• Proficiency in using technology for instruction, assessment, and communication.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional growth and a passion for working with children.
