Description
Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled non-journey craft maintenance repair activities and control functions in the physical plant. Performs building and ground maintenance. Work is performed with considerable independent judgment. Supervision received is general in nature using established procedures and general objectives. Works closely with other professionals in a team approach.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Required Education & experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. and Five (5) years of experience in building maintenance and repairs, including at least two (2) years of experience in the maintenance of air handling and related equipment.
Required License/Certification: Valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Supplemental Information
Hours: The position is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), scheduled Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:30PM - 11pm with rotating weekends as needed.
We are hiring for multiple vacancies at our West Allis and Mequon campuses. Available shifts vary between 1st and 2nd shift, depending on campus needs.
Compensation Salary pay rates are listed up to the midpoint of the range and placement is determined based on years of experience, internal salary equity, and a review of the applicants employment and educational background as listed on the job application.

MATC contributes a generous percentage towards medical insurance premium. Both medical plans include prescription drug coverage at no additional cost to employees.
