Description
What You'll Do
- Conduct field observations associated with existing structures and facilities
- Perform building science testing services including anchor bolt testing, bond testing, GPR, coring, chipping, sample extraction, sounding, roofing and waterproofing, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), leak investigations, and forensic investigations
- Under the direction of senior staff, perform structural assessments, structural designs, and construction administration services (including RFI responses, shop drawing review, budget updates, and owner meetings).
- Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers
- Collaborate with senior staff to prepare building science & infrastructure reports and develop an understanding of the relationship between field observations, test results, and report conclusions.

What We're Looking For
Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree
Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures
Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursed
