Job Summary:
The Building Performance QA Specialist Lead is part of the delivery team responsible for implementing innovative and equitable residential energy-efficiency programs on behalf of clients serving customers in various geographic markets. The role coordinates Energy Assessor and Quality Assurance inspection teams and schedules; ensures accurate documentation and reporting; supports technical training in energy assessment, weatherization, and contractor management; and develops relationships with relevant market participants through outreach and quality assurance activities.
Job Duties:
Building Performance
Builds relationships with contractors within the portfolio
Supports the development of training curriculum to increase contractor capacity and participation in program offerings
Coordinates and delivers virtual and in-person training for audiences of varying sizes and backgrounds
Solicits contractor feedback to prioritize training content and generates interest to support strong attendance
Acts as a local program and company representative at events
Reports monthly market activity in narrative format
Quality Assurance
Supports quality assurance activities by inspecting weatherization and HVAC measures
Leads and coordinates quality inspections across assigned project sites
Ensures inspections comply with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Documents inspection findings using standardized forms, photographs, and digital tools
Identifies and reports deficiencies and noncompliance issues and recommends corrective actions
Maintains inspection schedules and supports timely completion of inspection activities
Collaborates with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues
Ensures quality assurance protocols are followed, and inspection records are properly maintained

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $100,000 - $120,000
Maryland Range: $100,000 - $120,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $100,000 - $120,000
