The Building Manager PT - EM at CITY WIDE FACILITY SOLUTIONS is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the facility. This role requires ensuring that the building's physical infrastructure is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations. The Building Manager will coordinate with various stakeholders to optimize building services and enhance the overall experience for occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the building, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and oversee the execution of repair work.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of building assets.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and monitor expenses related to building operations.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and manage crisis response efforts to ensure occupant safety.
- Maintain accurate records of building operations, including maintenance logs, vendor contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Foster positive relationships with building occupants, addressing concerns and feedback to improve service delivery.
Requirements
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building management or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing building operations, including maintenance, safety, and security.
- Experience in coordinating with vendors and service providers for building maintenance and repairs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with tenants, staff, and service providers.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems related to building operations and maintenance
- Proficiency in using facility management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in building management.
