    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Building Maintenance Worker I is responsible for basic maintenance of the buildings and grounds (non-permit/licensed repairs); and act as a backup for drivers and janitor.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Perform janitorial duties when needed such as cleaning debris and dust
    • Act as a backup driver when needed
    • Ensuring the buildings have adequate lighting, heating and ventilation
    • Responsible for minor repairs and inspections of equipment which may include painting, patching walls, hanging shelves etc.
    • Operates machinery and equipment.
    • Responsible for moving, transporting, and arranging desks, files, and other office equipment during construction
    • Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.
