Building Maintenance Technician II - Property Management

Pay Range: $22.10 - 27.40 Hourly

The position follows a rotating 12-hour schedule from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Workdays and days off rotate weekly, providing employees with a three-day weekend every other week.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

Replace: Lights and ballasts in fluorescent fixtures while upgrading to higher efficiency retrofit.Repair: Plumbing fixtures, unclog drains and maintain plumbing systems.Preform: Corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of minor problems with mechanical and HVAC systems.Collaborate: Maintain routine records of all inspections, maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system, within a computer based management system.Support: Maintain mechanical rooms and equipment.

High School Diploma or GED preferred1 year building maintenance, custodial, general or labor experienceTechnical or trade school classes in related fieldBasic carpentry skills and electrical knowledge preferredKnowledge and observance of safety precautionsknowledge of how to use and maintain power tools, hand tools and equipmentPainting skills and plumbing knowledge preferredValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
