Building Maintenance Technician

The company has thrived as a family business through four generations and has grown to be a market leader and best in class innovator.Position SummaryOur Building Maintenance Technician are responsible for supporting the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of PADNOS facilities and equipment. This role performs preventative maintenance, basic HVAC support, plumbing and drain repairs, equipment inspections, and general building repairs to help maintain efficient daily operations. The technician works closely with Facilities Maintenance staff to complete work orders, troubleshoot maintenance issues, maintain accurate maintenance records, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety standards and operational priorities.Schedule

Monday- Friday, Weekends as needed.6:00am- 4:00pm

Responsibilities

Unclog, repair, and install drains; change oil and filters on air compressorsConduct routine inspections at PADNOS locations to identify and address maintenance needsPerform preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipmentRepair, modify, rebuild, and maintain facility equipment and structures, including doors, windows, siding, walls, roofs, drains, and rackingFollow all safety procedures and company maintenance standardsPerform basic HVAC maintenance, including changing air filters on rooftop and air makeup unitsMaintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS systemProvide timely and professional maintenance support while prioritizing requests based on urgencyAssist Level II Facilities Maintenance Technicians with troubleshooting, repairs, and work orders

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred1-2 years of basic carpentry, maintenance, or construction experience requiredBasic welding and pipe fitting experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and use common hand, power, and precision measuring toolsExperience operating construction or maintenance equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, or jackhammers preferredStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel between worksites as neededAbility to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform repetitive physical tasksAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionallyAbility to safely operate vehicles, machinery, and power toolsComfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including temperature extremes and noisy environments
