Building Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to service our busy production and corporate Headquarters in the Melville area on Long Island, NY.Key Responsibilities include:Operations & Maintenance ManagementSupervise the daily operations, preventive maintenance, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and BMS (Building Management Systems).Establish with Manager's assistance, a rigorous preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespans. Certifications: Professional certifications such as FMP (Facility Management Professional), CFM (Certified Facility Manager), or relevant state trade licenses (HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing) are a major asset.

Bringing you high-quality products with the guaranteed potency you deserve!We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to service our busy production and corporate Headquarters in the Melville area on Long Island, NY.Key Responsibilities include:Operations & Maintenance ManagementSupervise the daily operations, preventive maintenance, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and BMS (Building Management Systems).Establish with Manager's assistance, a rigorous preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespans.Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, providing technical guidance to onsite technicians.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and evaluate a team of onsite facility maintenance staff.Oversee third-party contractors, janitorial staff, security personnelCoordinate shift schedules and manage emergency on-call rotations.Safety, Compliance.Ensure the facility strictly complies with OSHA, local building codes, fire codes, and environmental regulations.Conduct regular safety drills, building walkthroughs, and risk assessments to maintain a hazard-free work environment.Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum of 5+ years of facility maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a dedicated supervisory or team-lead capacity.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree, technical trade school certification, or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or Engineering is highly preferred.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC chillers, boilers, electrical grids, automated control systems (BMS), and fire suppression systems.Certifications: Professional certifications such as FMP (Facility Management Professional), CFM (Certified Facility Manager), or relevant state trade licenses (HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing) are a major asset.Physical Requirements: Ability to walk large facilities, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.Benefits:Competitive salaryMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Aflac, Short- and Long-Term Disability401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time off days and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and growthDiscounted vitamins and supplements
