Job Overview Position Title: Building Maintenance/ Housekeeping and Houseman Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time (may include some holidays and/or weekends)with benefits to include Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance and many other additional elective riders. Generous PTO, Golf and Tennis Privileges with limits, complimentary employee meals while working Core Housekeeping & Custodial Responsibilities · Clean, sanitize, and maintain public areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, and breakrooms.· Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and buff hard-surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.· Dust furniture, high-reach vents, fixtures, and interior glass/windows.· Empty wastebaskets, sort recyclables, and transport trash to designated disposal areas.· Replenish restroom supplies, paper products, and soap dispensers. Core Building Maintenance Responsibilities · Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on building infrastructure, interior and exterior.· Troubleshoot and fix basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues (e.g., replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, changing air filters).· Conduct regular property inspections to identify safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or damage.· Coordinate and escort inside and outside contractors or specialized service technicians when major repairs arise.· Perform seasonal or exterior upkeep, such as snow and ice removal, sidewalk clearing, or basic groundskeeping.· Document completed work orders, safety checks, and inventory levels using facility management logs or software.· Report items needing expertise solutions to Clubhouse Maintenance Supervisor Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience: 1+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or general building maintenance trades. Skills & Knowledge:Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.Understanding of safe chemical handling, OSHA guidelines, and sanitation standards.Ability to communicate effectively and follow written or verbal work orders. Physical Demands:Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb ladders for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment or materials (typically up to 25–50 lbs).
