Note - This is an internal position only. This is a two year position that will meet approximately 9-12 times each year to engage in professional learning and facilitate collaborative decision-making. Strong understanding of data and evidence-based practices is required. Ability to work collaboratively with others is essential.

Position Overview
At Hoquiam School District, we believe that shared leadership and collective action drive meaningful school improvement. As a member of the Building Leadership Team (BLT), you will serve as a collaborative leader, helping to guide and sustain strategic implementation of our School Improvement Plan (SIP) in alignment with our district's vision for Meaningful Relationships, Engaged Learners, Adaptive Pathways, and Community Connections. BLT members work beyond their daily classroom or departmental responsibilities to enhance the overall effectiveness and culture of the school.
Purpose
The Building Leadership Team exists to foster collective efficacy and build site-based capacity to implement evidence-based practices that lead to long-term student success. BLT members support the District Improvement Plan, promote a positive school climate, and ensure high-leverage practices are implemented with fidelity across all tiers

Employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a Washington State Patrol, FBI fingerprint criminal history background check, and Sexual Misconduct background check.
