    Do you like variety—one hour replacing an emergency light, the next fixing a leaky line, later prepping sidewalks before a storm? Do you enjoy PMs that prevent downtime and weekly walkthroughs that spot issues early? If so, this role could be a great fit.

    What you’ll tackle

    • Preserve and improve building structures, equipment, and site grounds.
    • Assist with production equipment preventive maintenance—following documented procedures.
    • Handle low-voltage repairs and lamp changes for exit and emergency lighting systems.
    • Install and repair plumbing and compressed air lines.
    • Repair or install ceilings, doors, walls, and windows.
    • Perform painting, masonry, and flooring repairs/installs.
    • Clear snow and apply treatments to keep walkways safe.
    • Complete weekly inspections and brief the Facilities Manager on findings.
    • Respond to emergency call-ins to restore operations quickly.
    • Take ownership of facility cleaning tasks that fall outside janitorial scope.

    What you’ll need to succeed

    • High school diploma or equivalent; a four-year trade school or similar degree preferred.
    • 3–5 years of comprehensive industrial building maintenance experience, including carpentry, plumbing, low-voltage electrical, painting, PMs, and snow removal.
    • Strong written and verbal communication; Microsoft Office proficiency; fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
    • Self-motivated, team-oriented, results-driven; excellent manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
