We are seeking a Full-Time Building Engineer Lead to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems while providing leadership and technical guidance to the maintenance team. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead daily maintenance operations, assign work orders, support scheduling efforts, and provide training and guidance to team members and subcontractors.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, access control, and other building systems throughout the community.
• Perform advanced preventative maintenance and corrective repairs while assisting with quality control and project execution.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor activities, estimate material needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations.
• Respond to community alarms, emergency calls, and facility issues while supporting a safe and welcoming environment for residents. 

 

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, DOE

About You

• Minimum of five years of experience in engineering, maintenance, HVAC, MEP, or a related skilled trade.
• Experience providing training, mentorship, or technical guidance to employees or work teams.
• Advanced trade certifications, HVAC certification, or Universal Recovery License preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and building systems maintenance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with experience using Microsoft Office, CMMS, BAS, and EMS systems. [
