Building Engineer III-Baseline (Mon-Fri: 6am-2:30pm)

With minimal supervision and oversight from the facilities director, coordinates the proper operation and maintenance for the Mountain Park Health Center facility building and grounds assigned to by the facilities director. Assesses needs, manages work order system, and coordinates with operations managers to ensure buildings serve necessary functions to support Mountain Park Health Center and its mission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs preventive maintenance and repair of the clinic and the related equipment and grounds such as plumbing, carpentry, wall repair, painting, repair door hardware, lighting maintenance, monitoring of heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment, and other systems to ensure safe and efficient operation, such as plumbing, carpentry, wall repair, painting, repair door hardware, lighting maintenance, monitoring of heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment, and other fire/life safety systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Completes and maintains work order paperwork.
• Coordinates system activities, repairs, and maintenance with maintenance vendors.
• Monitors and inspects building systems such as fire alarms, heating ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing to ensure the system's operation is within design capabilities and generates inspection reports.
• Assists with various facilities projects.
• Requests price quotes for the procurement of equipment, materials, services, and labor of projects and reviews with the facilities director.
• Assists with training new building engineers.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and Organization directives related to the building.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of related experience in facilities maintenance.
• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Vocational training in HVAC and electrical technology
• EPA 608 Certificate
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC experience
