JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a maintenance and personal service work involving custodial care and maintenance of an assigned area with a Work Schedule to follow. Work is performed under general supervision.

REPRESENTATIVE TASKS:
  • Picks up waste and recycle in an office setting in an assigned area.
  • Scrubs, mops, waxes, and polishes floors
  • vacuum carpets
  • dusts and polishes furniture
  • washes windows, woodwork, toilets, washrooms, and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and appearance.

KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment related to custodial duties.
  • Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks in the care, cleaning, and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule as needed due to operational needs.
  • Ability to use a computer for email and time entry.
  • Ability to work and make decisions on your own.
  • Ability to follow work rules and Standard Operating Procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience and training which demonstrates a basic knowledge of grounds and maintenance and repair.
