Currently, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions. JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a maintenance and personal service work involving custodial care and maintenance of an assigned area with a Work Schedule to follow. Work is performed under general supervision.
REPRESENTATIVE TASKS:- Picks up waste and recycle in an office setting in an assigned area.
- Scrubs, mops, waxes, and polishes floors
- vacuum carpets
- dusts and polishes furniture
- washes windows, woodwork, toilets, washrooms, and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:- Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment related to custodial duties.
- Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks in the care, cleaning, and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to adjust work schedule as needed due to operational needs.
- Ability to use a computer for email and time entry.
- Ability to work and make decisions on your own.
- Ability to follow work rules and Standard Operating Procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and training which demonstrates a basic knowledge of grounds and maintenance and repair.
