Job Title: Building-Based Educator (SY 2026-2027)

Location: Unidos Academy (LHS)

Unidos Academy-Lawrence High School is seeking exceptional BBE to join our team who possess a growth mindset, value collaboration and continuous feedback, are passionate about their content, and have an unwavering belief that all students are capable of meeting rigorous academic expectations.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively to align curriculum to the rigor of the MA Curriculum Frameworks

Check in daily with the supervisor for coverage assignments

Support classroom teachers with instruction during the school day

Cover classes when lead teachers are absent

Complete regularly scheduled duties and assignments outside of the classroom

Follow regular teacher's lesson plans in a way that ensures consistency and optimal learning, and that encourages students to participate

Assign classwork and homework as necessary and according to the teachers' instructions

Modify teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students

Maintain a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment

Supervise students out of class, such as in the hallways and in the cafeteria as needed

Demonstrates support and knowledge of the school's goals and mission

Is detail-oriented when tracking students' grades, attendance, and other student data

Works with the Principal and Assistant Principal to ensure teaching methods are directed towards meeting and surpassing the standards

Performs duties as assigned by the Principal

Demonstrated capacity to create and maintain a positive learning environment in which students' diverse backgrounds, identities, strengths, and challenges are respected and utilized.

Will to improve practice by taking and implementing frequent feedback
