Summary

This is and entry level position and responsible for setting up projects of any size. Also verify that each exhibit is accurately built and packed, meeting Skyline quality standards. May require oversight by team member.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Pull parts from consolidation carts, ensure that all product lines have been delivered to the set-up area and confirm that each line item is filled correctly per the paperwork.
  • Pull parts from Rental carts, ensure that all product lines have been delivered to the set-up area and confirm that each line item is filled correctly per the paperwork.
  • Responsible for the set-up of Project Managed exhibits.
  • Meet scheduled ship dates for projects.
  • Provide work direction and lead a small team of set-up technicians in building, dismantling and packing larger, more complex exhibits
  • Responsible for recording project data such as order discrepancies, labor hours, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist in the set-up, dismantle and pack of larger, more complicated exhibits.
  • Ensure that quality-packing methods are used.
  • Upon completion of a project, make sure all paperwork is organized and available for shipping.
  • Maintain external focus on Distributor/client expectations on each and every job.
  • Inform Team Lead of issues pertaining to the exhibit involving damage, missing parts or needing additional information.
  • Operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials and inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Prior forklift experience preferred; must be willing and able to obtain Skyline forklift certification and operate equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Duties are not limited to the above mentioned and could have additional tasks assigned by Team Lead or Supervisor.

  • Thorough understanding of Skyline product lines, including hardware, graphics and rental
  • Mentor Set-up Technician I employees

Minimum Education/Certification

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Minimum Experience

  • Excellent communication with all levels of management and production personnel
  • Increasing levels of project leadership

Equipment and Supplies Used

  • Personal Computer
  • Forklift and Scissor lift
  • Basic hand and power tools
  • Safety gear (i.e. safety glasses, steel toe shoes)

Physical Requirements

  • Standing or walking 100%
  • Lifting a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
