Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on APD expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and federal requirements.
• Perform detailed fund analysis and reconcile actual spend to budget.
• Track spending by project phase and report on budget status and remaining balances.
• Prepare, review, and process journal vouchers related to APD and Expansion activities.
• Analyze and reconcile pharmacy rebate collections and report on net pharmacy cost trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in budget analysis, accounting, or financial reporting, preferably in a government or healthcare finance setting.
• Proficient in project collaboration and tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Project Suite, MS Teams, Zoom).
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Experience monitoring contract spend on multiple contracts.
• Experience with tracking fund utilization across state and federal sources.

Preferences

• Prior state government/public sector experience with health and human services programs such as Medicaid.
• Familiarity with federal financial participation and Advance Planning Documents.
