    This confidential opportunity is ideal for an experienced civil engineering professional who can lead bridge and transportation projects from planning through completion. The selected candidate will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, client relationships, and multidisciplinary teams while mentoring engineers and supporting business development efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead bridge and transportation projects from planning through completion.
    • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, resources, and financial performance.
    • Develop Project Management Plans, Quality Management Plans, project schedules, and fee proposals.
    • Identify project risks, recommend solutions, and prepare additional work requests or task proposals.
    • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, technical resources, and subconsultants.
    • Maintain strong client relationships and communicate project progress, risks, and priorities.
    • Prepare progress reports, review invoices, and participate in project financial meetings.
    • Lead project presentations, proposal development, client interviews, and go/no-go decisions.
    • Coach and mentor project team members through regular feedback, check-ins, and project debriefs.
    • Ensure projects are delivered according to client expectations and established quality standards.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant civil engineering or project management experience.
    • Active Professional Engineer, or P.E., license.
    • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and client-management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering professionals.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PennDOT project experience.
    • Experience working with county, state, or other public-sector clients.
    • Bridge or transportation infrastructure project experience.
    • Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3 delivery methods.
    • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and subconsultants.
    • Proposal development and business development experience.

    Working Conditions

    This position is primarily performed in an office environment. Occasional field work may be required in varying outdoor conditions. The role may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
