Bridge Design Engineer (Remote / Travel)

Location: Des Moines, IA (travel to projects across the Midwest)

Position Overview

Our client, an established heavy civil bridge contractor working on bridge and rail projects throughout the Midwest, is looking for a Bridge Design Engineer (Remote / Travel). This is a traveling role: you'll be based out of the Des Moines area and travel to job sites across the region. Permanent, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and engineering calculations
• Prepare and review drawings and submittals
• Support field and project teams with technical solutions
• Coordinate with owners, engineers and agencies
• Travel to project sites across the Midwest; per diem/travel covered

Qualifications

• Engineering degree; PE preferred where noted
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Willing to travel regularly

Compensation

• Base salary: $115,000 - $180,000
• Travel expenses covered
• Strong benefits package
