Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Brick Hot Plate Operator to join a growing manufacturing operation in the Tulsa area. This position is responsible for operating specialized hot plate equipment used to melt and bond product components onto each end of waterjet bricks.
These specialty bricks are installed in the bottom of industrial waterjet cutting tables and are supplied to customers around the world. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, and comfortable performing repetitive production work while maintaining consistent workmanship.
Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate hot plate production equipment safely and efficiently
Position waterjet brick components correctly before processing
Use heated equipment to melt and bond components onto each end of the bricks
Monitor the bonding process to ensure proper attachment
Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy
Identify improperly bonded or defective products
Follow established production schedules and work instructions
Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
Keep equipment and surrounding work areas clean and organized
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Report equipment or quality concerns to appropriate personnel
Assist with additional manufacturing and production duties as assigned
Waterjet Brick Production
This position works with specialized bricks used in industrial waterjet cutting tables.
Responsibilities may include:
Preparing bricks and components for processing
Positioning materials correctly
Operating hot plate equipment
Melting and bonding product components
Inspecting completed bonds
Checking finished products for accuracy
Preparing completed bricks for the next stage of production

Hot Plate Equipment Responsibilities
Safely operate specialized hot plate machinery
Follow established operating procedures
Maintain awareness around heated surfaces and equipment
Position components accurately before bonding
Monitor equipment during production
Identify obvious equipment or process problems
Follow all required PPE and safety procedures when working around heated equipment
Quality Responsibilities
Inspect finished products for proper bonding
Verify components are positioned correctly
Check completed products for visible defects
Maintain consistent quality during repetitive production runs
Separate or report products that do not meet requirements
Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the entire production process
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience
Industrial production experience
Machine Operator experience
Assembly experience
Experience working with heated production equipment
Mechanical aptitude
Quality inspection experience
Experience performing repetitive manufacturing tasks
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, positioning, and repetitive hand movements
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for product handling
Ability to safely work around heated production equipment
Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks throughout the workday
Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
