Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Brick Drill Operator to join a manufacturing operation in Tulsa. This position is responsible for using a pneumatic hand drill to modify and prepare specialty bricks used in industrial waterjet cutting systems.
These waterjet bricks are critical components used in waterjet cutting tables around the world. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, can maintain accuracy while performing repetitive tasks, and is willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, making this a good opportunity for a reliable candidate who is mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Comfortable operating a pneumatic hand drill

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a pneumatic hand drill safely and efficiently
Drill and prepare specialty waterjet bricks according to production specifications
Position materials properly before drilling
Perform repetitive drilling operations while maintaining consistent quality
Inspect completed products for accuracy and workmanship
Identify damaged or incorrectly prepared products
Report quality or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
Keep production and work areas clean and organized
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Assist with additional manufacturing and production duties as assigned
Waterjet Brick Production
This position works with specialty bricks designed for use in industrial waterjet cutting systems.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing bricks for production
Pneumatic drilling
Following specified drilling requirements
Maintaining consistent hole placement and workmanship
Inspecting finished bricks
Identifying obvious defects or quality concerns
Preparing completed products for the next stage of production
Accuracy and consistency are important because these components are used in industrial waterjet systems worldwide.
Tools & Equipment
Candidates may work with:
Pneumatic hand drills
Basic hand tools
Power tools
Production fixtures
Measuring or inspection equipment
Other manufacturing equipment as assigned
Candidates must follow all applicable tool and equipment safety requirements.
Quality Responsibilities
Inspect finished bricks for accuracy
Verify drilling work meets production specifications
Maintain consistent quality during repetitive operations
Identify and separate defective or improperly prepared products
Report recurring quality concerns to supervisors
Maintain attention to detail throughout the entire shift
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience
Production or assembly experience
Hand and power tool experience
Pneumatic tool experience
Machine shop or industrial experience
Mechanical aptitude
Experience performing repetitive precision work
Previous quality inspection experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, positioning, and repetitive hand movements
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for drilling operations
Ability to safely operate pneumatic and power tools
Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks throughout the workday
Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
