The Breast Services Coordinator is responsible for the creation, development and facilitation of Breast Care Services at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The job exists to establish, implement and monitor an effective and efficient experience for women through the many disciplines required for care. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing relationships with outside providers, as well as hospital departments to effectively case manage patients through the continuum of care. The Coordinator will be responsible for the quality and success of the program through experience in identifying and intervening in all breast issues serving as the first and direct contact for patients and providers. The Breast Service Coordinator will seek to grow and develop protocols and pathways to enhance the service, seek to continuously improve the experience for patients and providers. The Coordinator will also serve as Chair of a Multidiscipline Team consisting of hospital, departmental and physician providers.
