Breakfast & Omelet Attendant

Position Overview

The Breakfast Attendant plays a critical role in the guest experience and is often the first interaction guests have each day. This position is responsible for the preparation, presentation, and service of the hotel’s complimentary breakfast, including cooking food items in high volume and preparing made-to-order eggs and omelets to guest specifications.This is a guest-facing role that requires a consistently positive, professional demeanor, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to perform multiple operational tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Breakfast Attendants are expected to support overall breakfast operations, including cleanliness, food preparation, inventory awareness, and adherence to all sanitation and safety standards.

This role requires a dependable morning presence with a strong work ethic and a serviceoriented mindset to ensure guests start their day on a positive note.

Schedule Hours: 5:30am - 12:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare large volumes of breakfast food items
• Prepare eggs and omelets to guest order specifications
• Perform general kitchen food preparation tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, buffet, and dining areas at all times
• Greet guests professionally and respond to questions or requests
• Monitor, refresh, and restock the breakfast buffet as needed
• Set up and break down the breakfast buffet and dining area
• Clean, stock, and maintain the coffee station
• Wash dishes and maintain dishwashing areas
• Strictly follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergy cross-contamination standards
• Communicate inventory needs and shortages to management
• Assist other breakfast team members as needed to support smooth operations

• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with company policy
• Working knowledge of food sanitation, nutrition, and allergy awareness is required
