Position Summary

As a Breakfast Manager, you are a key member of the restaurant leadership team responsible for overseeing all breakfast operations, leading team members, and ensuring a successful start to each day.
The Breakfast Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence during morning hours, maintaining food safety and quality standards, developing team performance, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. This role requires strong leadership, dependability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Breakfast Operations Leadership
- Lead and direct restaurant operations during breakfast hours.
- Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared and operational before opening.
- Coordinate staffing and workflow to meet customer demand during morning business periods.
- Monitor service times, productivity, and operational efficiency throughout the breakfast daypart.
- Support restaurant management in achieving sales and service goals.
Guest Experience
- Deliver and model exceptional customer service.
- Ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate service.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests and team members.
Team Development
- Train, coach, and motivate breakfast crew members.
- Communicate daily goals and expectations to team members.
- Provide ongoing feedback and support to improve employee performance.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
Food Safety & Quality
- Ensure all breakfast menu items are prepared according to Wendy's standards.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, holding times, and presentation.
- Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Ensure safe operation of restaurant equipment and adherence to all safety procedures.
Restaurant Operations
- Assist with inventory management, product ordering, and stock rotation for breakfast items.
- Complete required operational and administrative tasks accurately.
- Support labor management and staffing needs during morning shifts.
- Ensure proper cash handling and operational controls are followed.
Restaurant Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.
- Ensure dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior areas meet company cleanliness standards.
- Hold team members accountable for cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in preparing the restaurant for transition from breakfast to lunch operations.
Qualifications
Required
- Previous restaurant experience required.
- Fast-food restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and dependable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must possess all documents and permits required by federal, state, and local laws.
Preferred
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification.
- Experience with inventory management and employee training.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and food safety standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, carry, and move throughout the restaurant.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate restaurant equipment.
- Ability to work near hot cooking equipment, grills, fryers, and refrigeration units.
- Ability to multitask effectively during high-volume breakfast periods.
Work Environment
Breakfast Managers work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with an emphasis on morning operations. This position typically requires early morning availability and may include weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime based on business needs.
