Brazing Operator
Location: Hastings, NE
Pay: $19.50/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday Thursday, 3: 30 PM 2: 00 AM
Training: Day shift for approximately two weeks | Monday Friday, 7: 00 AM 3: 30/4: 00 PM

Looking for a four-day workweek and a hands-on manufacturing opportunity? We re hiring a Brazing Operator for a Hastings manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable working with small parts in a warm production environment.
You'll primarily work in brazing but will also be cross-trained in heat treating, giving you the opportunity to learn multiple areas of production.
What You'll Do
Operate brazing and heat-treating equipment
Assemble small parts and components by hand
Arrange parts on conveyor belts that move through industrial ovens
Perform detailed assembly work requiring good hand-eye coordination
Cross-train in both brazing and heat-treating operations
Assist with other general production duties as needed
Follow established safety and quality procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For
Excellent attendance and reliability are required
Comfortable working around hot industrial ovens and in a very warm work environment
Good attention to detail and ability to work with small parts
Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately
Willingness to cross-train and work in multiple production areas
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Steel-toed boots required
Manufacturing or production experience is a plus
