Pay: $17.00/hour starting pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with possibility of overtime
Job Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring a Brazer's Assistant for a manufacturing facility in the Britton Road area. This is an entry-level position assisting the Brazing Department with preparing, inspecting, and testing medical gas piping systems used in hospital patient service assemblies. The ideal candidate must be able to read work instructions, follow procedures, perform basic measurements, and work in a warm-to-hot manufacturing environment.Job Responsibilities

• Cut, deburr, and ream medical gas tubing
• Clean, dry, and properly store copper fittings
• Perform preliminary inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
• Conduct initial pressure tests on completed systems
• Read and follow drawings, work instructions, and department procedures
• Properly label assemblies after testing and inspection
• Report quality issues or product problems to the supervisor or Quality Department
• Work with department leads and team members to resolve production issues
• Follow established quality procedures and work instructions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good reading and writing skills
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read and interpret gauge readings
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for most of the shift and perform repetitive bending and twisting
• Must be comfortable working in a warm-to-hot, non-air-conditioned shop or warehouse environment

• Must be able to handle a 4–5 pound oxyacetylene torch
