Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.

As a Brand Representative with SHIK Consulting Group, you'll represent nonprofit organizations in person in Landover, MD. You'll talk with people about causes worth supporting and sign up new supporters through face-to-face fundraising. You earn weekly base pay plus commission, and the skills you build carry into any career.

What your day looks like

  • Starting with a team meeting and a training session
  • Heading out with your team to campaign locations
  • Talking with members of the public about the nonprofit you're representing
  • Explaining the cause clearly and inviting interested people to sign up as supporters (each sign-up counts as a sale)
  • Reviewing the day together in group evaluations and helping shape the campaign approach

How we train you

  • Daily training seminars and team meetings, so you're prepared before you head out
  • Group evaluations where you review real conversations and learn what works
  • Coaching based on your actual experience in the field

Where it can lead

Growth here follows a clear path, and each step is earned through consistency and results:

  1. Brand Representative: Learn the campaigns and build your skills in the field
  2. Coaching others: Help train and support newer teammates
  3. Supporting recruitment: Get involved in bringing new people onto the team
  4. Team leadership: Lead your own team on campaign days
  5. Management: Take on broader management responsibilities

Progression is based on performance, not a fixed timeline. The skills you build at every step stay with you: public speaking, customer service, confident communication, and staying composed when someone says no.

Who this suits

You don't need sales or fundraising experience. If you've worked in customer service, retail, food service, a campus job, a team sport, or as a volunteer, you already have a head start. What matters most is that you like talking to people, take feedback well, and show up ready to learn. You'll do best if you'd rather spend your day active and out with a team than sitting at a desk.
