Now Brewing - brand manager II, North American Coffee Partnership (NACP)! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
The Global Channel Development team leads marketing and innovation for Starbucks products delivered in channels outside of our retail coffeehouses. We do this through thoughtful partnerships with some of the world's leading food and beverage companies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on our North American Coffee Partnership (NACP), our 30+ year partnership with Pepsi that has brought Frappuccino, Coffee & Protein, Doubleshot Energy, and many more beloved beverages to life in a ready-to-drink (RTD) format.
In this role, you will help shape the future of our powerhouse $3B+ business by leading brand and portfolio strategies that drive sustainable growth, strengthen consumer engagement, and enhance brand equity across the ready-to-drink coffee category. You will play a critical role in developing annual brand plans, translating consumer and marketplace insights into actionable strategies, and delivering marketing initiatives that drive awareness, trial, loyalty, and business performance. Working within this highly collaborative joint venture, you will combine PepsiCo's consumer, commercial, and execution expertise with Starbucks deep brand equity, coffee authority, and commitment to quality.
We are looking for a passionate, strategic, and consumer-centric Senior Brand Manager to join our marketing team and lead brand and portfolio strategies that drive sustainable growth across the North American Coffee Partnership.
As a brand manager II, Marketing, you will...

Drive consumer-led marketing initiatives: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing programs that drive awareness, trial, loyalty, and business performance. Partner with creative, media, insights, commercial, and PepsiCo teams to bring consumer-relevant initiatives to life across the ready-to-drink coffee portfolio.
Develop and lead a high-performing team: Manage and develop Brand Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and leadership to build a high-performing marketing organization. You will foster a culture of consumer-centric thinking, accountability, collaboration, and continuous development while helping team members expand their strategic and leadership capabilities.
Influence business and commercial strategy: Partner closely with marketing, sales, insights, finance, and PepsiCo counterparts to shape portfolio priorities, customer strategies, consumer messaging, and go-to-market plans. You will ensure marketing plans align with broader business objectives and support sustainable category growth.
Drive cross-functional leadership and executive influence: Serve as a key leader across Starbucks and PepsiCo, bringing teams together around a shared vision and influencing decisions among senior stakeholders. You will lead complex discussions, navigate ambiguity, and build alignment to advance brand, portfolio, and marketing priorities across a highly matrixed organization.

Every day, we go to work hoping to do two things: share great coffee with our friends and help make the world a little better. It was true when the first Starbucks opened in 1971, and it’s just as true today.
Back then, the company was a single store in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. From just a narrow storefront, Starbucks offered some of the world’s finest fresh-roasted whole bean coffees. The name, inspired by Moby Dick, evoked the romance of the high seas and the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders.
In 1981, Howard Schultz (Starbucks chairman and chief executive officer) had first walked into a Starbucks store. From his first cup of Sumatra, Howard was drawn into Starbucks and joined a year later.
In 1983, Howard traveled to Italy and became captivated with Italian coffee bars and the romance of the coffee experience. He had a vision to bring the Italian coffeehouse tradition back to the United States. A place for conversation and a sense of community. A third place between work and home. He left Starbucks for a short period of time to start his own Il Giornale coffeehouses and returned in August 1987 to purchase Starbucks with the help of local investors.
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection.
