About the Job:
The Brand Manager is responsible for leading client's multi-channel paid media strategy and integrated go-to-market planning to drive brand growth and business results. This role serves as the primary strategic lead across media, public relations, social, influencer, and brand teams to ensure a holistic communications ecosystem.
The position is accountable for developing and overseeing best-in-class media and communications plans, ensuring agency recommendations align with brand strategy, business objectives, and performance expectations. The Manager will evaluate campaign effectiveness, drive ongoing optimization, and ensure seamless integration across all paid, earned, shared, and owned touchpoints.
This role acts as the central connector between Brand, Media, Public Relations, and Influencer to deliver cohesive, consumer-centric go-to-market plans that maximize reach, engagement, and ROI.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to Marketing Director

Main Responsibilities:
Lead the development of fully integrated go-to-market communication plans across media, public relations, social, influencer, digital commerce, and owned channels.
Ensure all communications disciplines are aligned against a common brand strategy, consumer journey, business objectives, and campaign priorities.
Own client's multi-channel paid media strategy, including annual planning, campaign development, channel prioritization, budget allocation, and investment optimization.
Lead media agency partners in developing strategic recommendations that align with brand objectives, target audience insights, and growth opportunities.
Evaluate and challenge agency plans to ensure investments are effective, efficient, and grounded in business results.
Serve as the central cross-functional leader across Brand, Media, Creative, PR, and agency partners.
Manage and optimize agency ecosystem (media, creative, PR, social, website), including scope, performance, and budgets.
Define KPIs and measurement frameworks tied to business outcomes, driving continuous optimization.
Establish learning agendas and apply insights (consumer, competitive, media effectiveness) to improve ROI.
Partner with Brand, digital commerce and sales teams to accelerate precision marketing and digital capabilities.

Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
5 years in integrated marketing, media, or agency roles (Client preferred).
Deep expertise across media, PR, social, and influencer.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and agency partners.
Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Strong understanding of media channels including digital, social, influencer, retail media, video, audio, search, and emerging platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Strong written, verbal presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, diplomacy, credibility, and ability to negotiate.
Position requires extensive interaction with internal and external senior leaders.
Autonomy and ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs.
Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing business environment.

Work Schedule:
Part-time hours (approximately 35 hours per week)
Flexible schedule with core availability during standard business hours
Availability for occasional urgent issues outside standard hours
Remote work with a reliable internet connection required
Compensation
Competitive hourly contractor rate commensurate with experience
