    Job Summary:

    The Brand Graphics Manager serves as the steward of Wellstar's visual identity, responsible for developing, governing, and evolving the organization's brand graphics standards across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director, Creative, this role leads the creation and management of comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring that all visual expressions of the Wellstar brand reflect a consistent, compelling, and differentiated identity. The Brand Graphics Manager partners closely with marketing, communications, digital, service line, and operational teams to translate brand strategy into clear graphic systems that strengthen recognition, trust, and engagement.

    This position is responsible for building and maintaining Wellstar's visual identity system, including graphic standards, design frameworks, templates, and brand assets used across print, digital, environmental, and multimedia channels. As the organization's subject matter expert on brand graphics, the Brand Graphics Manager establishes governance processes, enforces adherence to brand standards, and provides guidance and consultation to internal stakeholders and external partners. Through proactive stewardship and continuous refinement of the visual identity, this role ensures consistency and excellence in how the Wellstar brand is represented across every touchpoint.

    Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

    Brand Identity Strategy and Stewardship

    Lead the development, evolution, and governance of Wellstars visual identity system, including graphic standards, design frameworks, templates, and asset libraries. Ensure the brand remains distinctive, contemporary, and aligned with organizational strategy

    Brand Standards Management and Compliance

    Establish, maintain, and enforce enterprise-wide brand graphic guidelines across all marketing, digital, communications, and operational channels. Review materials and provide direction to ensure consistency and adherence to standards

    Creative Consultation and Cross-Functional Partnership

    Partner with marketing, communications, digital, service line, and operational leaders to translate business objectives into cohesive visual solutions. Serve as the organizations primary advisor on brand graphics and visual identity matters

    Design Systems, Tools, and Asset Management

    Develop and manage brand toolkits, templates, digital asset libraries, and design resources to enable efficient and scalable execution across the system. Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows

    Education, Training, and Governance

    Create training programs, documentation, and communication plans that educate internal teams, agencies, and vendors on Wellstar's visual identity standards and governance processes

    Industry Trends and Continuous Improvement

    Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, healthcare branding best practices, and competitive activity to recommend enhancements to Wellstar's visual identity system

    Performs other duties as assigned

    Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

    Required Minimum Education:

    • Bachelors Advertising or Bachelors Art or Bachelors Design or Bachelors Business Administration/Management or Bachelors Marketing or Bachelors Other / Related Field
    • 5 years additional - Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement.

    Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

    All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

    Additional License(s) and Certification(s):

    Certification or advanced training in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Experience Manager or related digital asset management platforms) preferred.

    Experience or certification in design systems, user experience (UX), or digital accessibility standards preferred.

    Accreditation or membership in professional organizations such as the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the American Marketing Association (AMA), or the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) preferred. Upon Hire Preferred

    Required Minimum Experience:

    Minimum 6 years Six-Ten years of progressively responsible experience in graphic design, brand management, creative services, or visual communications Required and

    Minimum 3 years Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and governing enterprise brand standards across multiple channels and audiences Preferred and

    Minimum 3 years Experience managing complex visual identity systems for large, matrixed organizations; healthcare, hospitality, consumer, or other service-oriented industries preferre Preferred and

    Minimum 3 years Proven success collaborating with senior leaders, creative teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive brand consistency and adoption Preferred and

    Minimum 3 years Experience overseeing digital asset management systems, design templates, and brand governance processes Preferred and

    Required Minimum Skills:

    Deep expertise in brand identity systems, graphic standards, typography, color theory, layout, and visual storytelling.

    Strong understanding of brand governance and the ability to influence adherence across a large, decentralized organization.

    Exceptional design sensibility and attention to detail

    Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design and asset management platforms, including Adobe Creative Cloud and related tools

    Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and brand standards to diverse audiences.

    Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

    Skilled at building relationships and influencing stakeholders without direct authority

    Knowledge of digital, print, environmental, and multimedia production processes

    Commitment to continuous learning and awareness of emerging design, technology, and healthcare branding trends.
