Purpose

The Brand Ambassador is the face and voice of Bo Lacey Construction in the field and community — representing our world-class brand, creating meaningful connections, and helping turn customers into lifelong advocates.
This role bridges marketing and customer experience, combining proactive field engagement, referral generation, and community visibility to grow brand awareness and ensure every homeowner interaction reflects Bo Lacey’s commitment to Doing What’s Right, Delivering World-Class Work, and Operating as a Championship Team.

Core Responsibilities
This is primarily a door-to-door canvassing role. You’ll spend the majority of your time in
local neighborhoods approaching homeowners, starting conversations, and generating qualified
leads for our sales team. While you may also participate in community events, fairs, and home
shows, door knocking is the core of this position. You should be comfortable working outdoors
in varying weather conditions, being on your feet, approaching new people, and staying
motivated through rejection.

Field Responsibilities (In-Season: March–October)

  • Represent Bo Lacey Construction professionally in all homeowner interactions.
  • Conduct visits to active and recently completed installations:

    • Deliver customer gift baskets and explain contents.
  •
    • Capture after-photos and short customer testimonial videos.
  •
    • Confirm that company yard signs are in plain view.
  •
    • Conduct a light walk-around quality check, confirming customer satisfaction and cleanliness of the site; document any issues for the Project Manager.
  •
  • Present Bo Lacey Referral Gift Cards ($100 value) to satisfied customers.

    • Encourage customers to use the card toward a future project or gift it to friends/family.
  •
    • Collect names and contact info of referrals using the “Who could benefit from this gift?” approach.
  •
    • Record all referrals in AccuLynx for follow-up by the sales team.
  •
  • Engage in proximity canvassing around job sites:

    • Door-knock and leave branded sticky notes and flyers.
  •
    • Introduce Bo Lacey’s services and collect interest/referral leads.
  •
  • Obtain customer consent to share photos/testimonials for marketing purposes.
  • Document all customer interactions, referrals, and reviews in AccuLynx daily.
  • Present or mail warranties depending on timing of customer visit.

Office Responsibilities (Year-Round)

  • Prepare and plan for upcoming field days:

    • Research current installations scheduled for the week.
  •
    • Organize and prepare customer gift baskets and materials.
  •
    • Create canvassing maps around current projects.
  •
    • Ensure flyers, sticky notes, forms, and marketing collateral are stocked.

  • Serve as call-center backup on Mondays and during high-volume periods — answer inbound calls, qualify leads, and schedule appointments in AccuLynx.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical marketing materials for field use.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team on social content and photo usage.

Event & Community Marketing (Off-Season: November–February)

  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule all Bo Lacey events for the upcoming year:

    • Home shows, fairs, golf/outdoor expos, and community festivals across all markets.
  •
    • Manage logistics including applications, booth layout, and setup.
  •
  • Complete a 12-month master event calendar by January 31 each year.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to ensure event selections align with budget and brand strategy.
  • Maintain vendor and sponsorship relationships.
  • Track event leads and follow-ups in AccuLynx.
