Branch Sales Associate

Summary:

• Location: Elmsford, NY
• Duration: 6 Months
• Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 7am to 4pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide a high level of customer service through multiple service channels as defined in the Company Service Promise.
• Navigate customers to solutions that help them accomplish their tasks.
• Drive sales growth by identifying leads for further selling opportunities with every customer interaction.
• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, product picking, and vehicle loading.
• Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for different audiences via email, phone, or in-person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare customer backorders and organize stock received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and housekeeping tasks to maintain branch appearance.
• Learn and navigate through different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Comply with safety guidelines and process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work within branch hours of operation.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Capability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
