    Description

Lead a high-velocity mobile fleet service branch

Transwest Mobile / Naumann Hobbs Material Handling is expanding across multiple states and we are searching for a proven operator to run one of our branches end to end. If you have built field service teams, owned a site P&L, and thrive on accountability, this is your moment.

This is not a department head assignment. It is full general management with ownership of revenue, customer experience, technician productivity, service manager performance, safety, and standards. Your signature will be on the result.

    A day in the life

Morning hits and you walk the floor. Fullbay is up on your screen as you scan every open work order, parts status, and technician load. You huddle with your service managers for a PM meeting, confirm quality, clear roadblocks, and realign the plan. You drop in with technicians to understand what they need, then call two key customers before they need you. Throughout the day you coach, escalate, decide, and set the tempo. At close, billing is clean and tomorrow is staged.

    What you will own

    • Site performance end to end: revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
    • Service manager leadership: coach leaders who actively manage technicians, communicate with customers, and deliver daily results
    • Real-time control: track orders, workflows, parts, and updates in Fullbay and through direct communication
    • Daily PM meetings: review all scheduled work, inspect quality, and fix issues before they roll
    • Culture and pace: your urgency, preparation, and precision set the baseline for the entire team

    Customer leadership

    • Proactive relationships with key accounts; build trust before issues surface
    • Be the escalation point; own problems with honesty, urgency, and follow-through
    • Operate as a true fleet partner, not just a repair shop; customers never chase you for answers

    Team development

    • Stay close to technicians daily; know the work, the needs, and the progress
    • Build a culture of accountability and ownership that shows in actions, not slides
    • Coach service managers and technicians toward growth and higher standards
    • Lead from the front; step in when the work needs help

    Safety and compliance

    • Be the site owner for safety, regulatory compliance, and facility presentation
    • Run inspections, enforce documentation, and ensure every person understands expectations
    • Log, communicate, and resolve incidents and near-misses immediately per policy

    Operational detail management

    • Track and maintain all assets: equipment, service vehicles, tools, inventory, and customer fleet assets
    • Monitor clock-ins, timesheets, idle time, and job progression in real time
    • Protect billing accuracy by reviewing service orders before invoicing
    • Coordinate vendors and contractors to keep the operation running smoothly

    What you bring

    • Leadership background in fleet services, mobile maintenance, heavy truck or equipment operations, or similar field service environments
    • Proven ownership of site or branch P&L with measurable results
    • Hands-on management of service managers and technicians
    • Strong operational instincts; you stay connected to the work, schedule, and customer experience as it happens
    • Personal accountability and the willingness to make hard calls and hold standards
    • Clear, professional communication with customers, technicians, and executives
    • Highly organized and self-directed with structured days and clear priorities
    • Plus: experience in heavy truck dealerships, fleet maintenance providers, industrial equipment, or logistics
    • Entrepreneurial drive to partner with our RGV Regional Growth Director to deliver creative service solutions
