Description

The Meramec Valley Branch is seeking a full time Branch Manager to supervise the operation and maintenance of the branch to provide quality Library service to all Library customers.

The mission of the St. Louis County Library is to provide the resources and services to enrich individual minds, enhance lives and expand perspectives. SLCL is an award winning library system with branches throughout St. Louis County. We have transformed into a meaningful community resource with updated facilities and an array of programs and partnerships that serve over 860,000 patrons.Salary: $77,512.00Hours: Monday - Friday; two evenings per weekOne Saturday and Sunday per month

Essential Responsibilities:

Supervises staff to ensure the smooth operation of the branch.Coordinates the maintenance of the branch building and grounds to provide a clean and safe environment for Library customers and staff.Plans, develops, and facilitates programming, or supervises this activity, to respond to the needs of the community.Monitors, maintains, and organizes the collection to respond to the unique needs of the community.Interprets policy and procedures, and participates in administrative functions to connect the branch to the system.Provides assistance to customers to ensure quality service.

Job Qualifications:
