About the Role:

Serves as the first point of contact for internal callers and external customers seeking assistance with routine accounting inquiries and procedures. Provides foundational customer service and payment processing support and general guidance and triage of Branch process and procedure.

What You'll Do:

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and Prokeep chats
• Research and communicate findings on customer payments, short pays, and cash application details
• Accept and process customer payments accurately and securely to ensure PCI compliance
• Provide guidance and troubleshoot common questions related to systems, programs, and processes
• Handle requests for invoices, statements, and account maintenance (address changes, delivery preferences, etc.)
• Payment processing task (is this redundant based on bullet 3) and refund procedures
• Average cost, Inventory Adjustment, journal entries and write off request transaction process and procedure ( I might be losing it, but this bullet wording confuses me with 'process and procedure' also write off and journal entry requests same same?)
• Work within ServiceNow, Five9, Prokeep, and other support tools to manage ticket queues and escalations.

Essential Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Help Desk or Customer Service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfort with managing a high volume of calls and emails
• Understanding of accounting concepts such as debits, credits, and cash application

Key Skills & Tools:

• Incident management software, Microsoft Office Suite core applications (Word, Excel, Teams)
• Payment processing, cash application, journal entries
• Follow escalation protocols for unresolved issues
