As a Brake Press Programmer-Operator in Milwaukee, WI, you’ll transform prints into precise parts using CNC press brakes—elevating quality, reliability, and throughput on every run. This is a second-shift role, Monday–Thursday only, with a shift premium.
How You’ll Contribute
- Program, set up, and operate CNC brake presses to meet tight tolerances and bend specifications.
- Analyze blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to plan bend sequences and tooling layouts.
- Execute first-article verification and ongoing quality checks to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
- Diagnose forming issues, adjust parameters, and perform light maintenance to sustain uptime.
- Collaborate with team members to refine processes, reduce setup time, and boost productivity.
- Champion safety practices and maintain an orderly, 5S-friendly workspace.
What You Bring
- Proven proficiency with CNC press brakes in a production setting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Precision measurement and calculation skills for accurate bends and repeatability.
- Detail-oriented approach and strong problem-solving capability.
