    Training Provided 

    Traveling Position - Hazel Park, MI - Defiance, OH - Wheeling, IL

    $155 daily per diem for hotel

    $55 daily per diem

    Must have reliable transportation - will be reimbursed car & IRS rate

    MEC – Brake Press Operator

    Position: Brake Press Operator

    Locations: Hazel Park, Michigan • Defiance, Ohio • Wheeling, Illinois

    Position Summary

    Seeking motivated and dependable Brake Press Operators to join our growing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. Candidates should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work.

    Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate CNC and manual brake press machines.

    • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.

    • Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

    • Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

    • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.

    • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

    • Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

    • Assist with additional fabrication and manufacturing duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Previous brake press or metal fabrication experience is preferred.

    • Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints.

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

    • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.

    • Willingness to travel when required.

    Compensation

    Travel Benefits

    For out-of-state assignments:

    • $50 per day meal allowance (per person)

    • Company-paid accommodations

    • Additional travel details will be provided before each assignment.
