Brake Press Operator – 2nd Shift
Columbia City, IN | $25–$33/hour + $3/hour shift premium
Pro Resources is hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator for a manufacturing company in Columbia City! Put your metal fabrication skills to work with competitive pay and a Monday–Thursday schedule.
Pay: $25–$33/hour based on experience, plus a $3/hour second-shift premium—$28–$36/hour total.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate brake press machines to bend and form metal components.
Read blueprints and work orders to meet job specifications.
Select tooling and adjust machine settings for each job.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Help meet production goals while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For
At least 1–2 years of brake press experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
