Franklin High School, home of the Sabers, is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Boys Volleyball Assistant Coach. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about developing student-athletes on and off the field, committed to excellence, and eager to continue our tradition of strong community pride.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership:
  • Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Foster a culture of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity within the athletic department.
  • Player Development:
  • Design and execute comprehensive training programs to enhance players'' skills, physical fitness, and mental toughness.
  • Provide individualized coaching to address the unique needs and abilities of each player.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team atmosphere that encourages personal growth and teamwork.
  • Game and Practice Management:
  • Plan and conduct effective practices that focus on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
  • Develop game plans, analyze opponents, and make in-game adjustments to maximize team performance.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of athletes during all practices and competitions.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, school administration, and other stakeholders to provide updates on team progress and expectations.
  • Collaborate with other coaches, athletic staff, and school administrators to ensure a cohesive and integrated athletic program.
  • Collaborate with Athletic Department regarding scheduling, transportation
  • Represent the school and athletic program positively in the community and at conferences.
