Boys Varsity Baseball Coach

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To provide leadership, support and a positive environment for student athletes while educating about the rules, strategies and skills of baseball.

DUTIES:

• Assess baseball players'' skills and assign team

positions. Evaluate own and opposing team capabilities to determine winning game strategy.

• Instruct student athletes individually or in groups in techniques of baseball.

• Organize and execute effective team practice and game management.

• Monitor expenditures against budget; prepare budget data for review/approval by Activities Director.

• Plan and implement summer contact days.

• Inventory all equipment and uniforms.

• Submit stats and other needed information to conference website and newspapers.

QUALIFICATIONS: Previous coaching experience preferred.
