The Verona Area School District is looking for student-focused, dedicated, and equity-centered candidates to join our diverse district. Season will begin March 1, 2027

Must have considerable knowledge of the sport, rules, coaching techniques, etc. which would likely be gained by a combination of participation, prior experience and study.

Prior participation in the sport required or sufficient involvement that demonstrates a level of basic knowledge. Prior coaching experience is desired but not required.

Availability for and time commitment may include, but not be limited to the following: pre-season planning, meetings, practices after school, questions during school hours, competition, weekends, vacation periods and summer.

Must be certified and maintain certification in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and AED operation.

Bilingual (Spanish) skills are prioritized

Must support the VASD Strategic Plan and mission that each student will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their personal goals, thrive in a diverse global society, and lead a healthy, self-fulfilling life.
