Box Truck Route Delivery Specialist

Step into a day on the road

At U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., you help keep shops and dealerships moving by delivering tires, undercar parts, and lubricants across your route. Your workday typically runs Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm (or until the last stop is complete) with rotating Saturdays. Business needs can shift, so schedules may change and overtime may be required.

How your day flows

Start with a pre-trip inspection and a quick huddle. Load up, review your handheld for 10–20 planned stops, and roll out in a box truck under 26,001 pounds. You’ll navigate all weather conditions, make safe, on‑time deliveries, capture signatures, and occasionally collect payments. Between stops, you’ll keep accurate driver and fuel logs. Back at the hub, you’ll wrap up with a post‑trip inspection, help with loading/unloading when needed, and ensure every delivery is accounted for in your device.

What you’ll handle

• Pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of your assigned vehicle
• 10–20 deliveries per day on established routes in a box truck under 26,001 lbs
• Accurate records and logs (driver’s logs, fuel purchases, and required documentation)
• Safe, punctual deliveries in all weather; excellent communication with customers and teammates
• Use of a handheld to confirm every order is fulfilled; collection of payments when required
• Assistance with loading/unloading; occasional operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers
• Consistent lifting of 50 lbs and, at times, up to 80 lbs; team lifts or mechanical aids for commercial tires
• When handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires, ability to exert up to 40 lbs of pushing force
• Expect approximately 8–12 hours per day
• Other related duties as assigned by your supervisor (with reasonable accommodations as needed)

Safety, physical demands, and work environment

Operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. You will frequently lift up to approximately 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs. Expect to push up to 40 lbs when working with barrels or industrial/ag tires. Commercial tires may require rolling, de‑stacking, team lifts, or mechanical assistance.

Protective equipment: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). U.S. AutoForce provides all required PPE except steel/composite toe boots. Team members must follow safety and manufacturer guidelines for proper use.

Work environment: exposure to current weather conditions; moderate noise; fumes related to tires and, at times, car parts and lubricants.

What you’ll bring

• Age 21+ (company policy)
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi) and successful completion of a company road test
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards
• Comfort using powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts after training
• Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs and occasionally 80 lbs; push up to 40 lbs with certain products
• Strong customer service, clear communication, and adherence to safety procedures
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines (see DOT/FMCSA website for full requirements)
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
