Box Truck Driver

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team. Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

• Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Load and unload goods securely to prevent damage during transportation.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Plan and organize daily routes for efficient deliveries, meeting customer expectations.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Interact professionally and courteously with clients during pickups and drop -offs.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including delivery records, vehicle inspections, and customer signatures.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the truck and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safety on the road.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• This position is local and OTR.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Valid Class B commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • 2 years of proven experience as a box truck driver, preferably in delivery or logistics. (If you don't have box truck experience, a CDL Class A license would be an acceptable alternative).<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.<\/span>

    Education and Training:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • A high school diploma or GED is generally required, but relevant work experience and a valid commercial driver’s license are prioritized.<\/span>

    • On -the -job training will be provided to familiarize you with our specific procedures and equipment.<\/span>
