    Description:

    We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to transport goods, including hazardous materials, to various locations. The ideal candidate is expected to possess a valid CDL Class A or B license with a Hazmat endorsement, demonstrating a commitment to safe vehicle operation and adherence to all transportation regulations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.  Benefits include competitive pay rate, health insurance, 401k with match, over three weeks of paid time off and more.

    Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate a box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
    • Transport hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
    • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues.
    • Load and unload cargo, utilizing proper techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
    • Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients and vendors.
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and manifests.
    • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members using the English language.
    • Maintain a good driving record, demonstrating responsible driving behavior.
    • Handle cargo with care, demonstrating fine motor skills during loading and unloading.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Valid CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat endorsement.
    • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA guidelines.
    • General knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures.
    • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
    • Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
    • A good driving record, demonstrating safe driving practices.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in transporting hazardous materials.
    • Prior experience in customer service roles.
    • Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures.
    • Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
